In 2009, after having a skyline full of mono band dipoles, I took them all down and constructed a Homebrew, multiband vertical antenna. It is fed with rg8u coax to a 4:1 unun mounted at the base (shown below). I laid down about 20 radials of different lengths buried 1 inch deep. It stands 33 feet, 8 inches tall and easily tunes on all bands from 80 thru 6 meters. I primarily use it for digital modes on 40 thru 15 meters.

For the other bands, I use a Solarcon a99 on 10 and 12 meters and my homebrew g5rv for phone operation on 40 and 80 meters.
